Biological characteristics: The body is small in size, the body length of males is from 21 mm to 25 mm, and the length of females is from 24 mm to 26 mm. Pair of thin filamentous antennae, with 22 to 24 antennae segments. Body light brown with wings darker and longer than the belly. The hind legs are long, and the hind bones are thin with 10 to 11 short, sharp black spines.

Distribution: Pakistan, India, Sri Lanka, Australia, France, Southwest Africa, Japan, and Vietnam.

Recorded in Truong Sa archipelago: Sinh Ton, Song Tu Tay.
